The FHS 29ers will be participating in the Carmen Starr Memorial Day Classic in El Segundo CA!
The fee for this event will be $450
If your player is interested in attending, please make sure you fill out the interest form on our home page of our site!
Ages
We will offer at three teams for this event:
18AAA, 18AA, 15AAA with a potential for 16AA
When
The tournament is over Memorial Day weekend
May 23rd-May 26th
Where
The tournament games will be played at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo with some roll over games being played at Paramount Ice and Artesia East West Ice Palace

Practices
We will not have any formal practices before this event. But, we will be offering clinic ice, as well as lesson ice if players are interested please contact coach Frosty
Games
There will be a 4 game minimum in the tournament, with a possibility of playing 6 games if teams make it to the final
Jerseys
Jerseys / socks are a one time purchase for $150. They can be used for all FHS 29er's events for Spring/ Summer. This fee is separate from any tournament fee's
Extra Costs
We have FHS 29er's hats and apparel for purchase as well. But this would be the only additional cost that would be associated (all completely optional)
Unless the team decides to buy out the stay to play option which is normally around $500 per team divided by the amount of players
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the tournaments stay to play?
Yes, the Spring and Summer events are almost all stay to play events. But, we do have the option to buy out the stay to play for a small fee which we have opted to do in the past. So we can stay closer to the Summerlin rink (Red Rock)

Can I invite a friend to play?
Of course! We just ask that everyone fill out the FHS 29er's interest form that is linked on our home page. This is so the coaches can ensure that your friend is placed on the correct skil level team
How do I secure my spot to play?
You must be paid in full in order to secure your roster spot. We normally have a waiting list for all of our events, so once we invite our team or open registration we cant hold spots without payment

Memorial Day Carmen Starr Tournament
You're invited to join the FHS 29ers for the 2025 Carmen Starr Tournament!
The event is played at Toyota Sports Center from May 23rd- May 26th
The tournament fee is $450 for the weekend (jersey and socks not included)
** If you do not have the new 29ers jersey and socks from our spring select teams, you will need to purchase a set for your player. (These will be available for purchase during registration)
